So far, based on the headlines I saw, this is more common for those “grandpa, I’m in , please send money” scams.

Beware? Yes. If I get a call from an unknown number, I never answer and let it go to voicemail. If it is important, they will leave a message.
Fidelity uses voice recognition to verify me when I call in. I almost never call in, extremely rare circumstance. Makes me now wonder, how secure is their “voice data base”? When will we see news of this sort of data breech?
As far as I am aware Fidelity doesn’t use ONLY voice. I think they use voice after they recognize the telephone number you are calling from first. But I think “caller ID” can be spoofed as well.
