Apparently illegals aren’t the only ones who don’t want to come to America. This is the republican’s version of “American exceptionalism”, essentially equivalent to a severe case of national B.O.

I wonder how many USians are not vacationing in the US for a while. The next few vacations we are planning are not in the US. Partially that is because we have hit most of the places we want to see, hike, experience in the US, but also because the few we haven’t visited are in places where we do not want to spend our money.

Visitation in the tourist town where I live is off this summer. But it has gotten so crazy busy in recent years, it is kind of a relief to see visitation take a dip. We’re still seeing foreign visitors here but in decreased numbers.
