As we one-up the gotcha's...

Old dealraker, the positive but cynical fossil who thinks strong businesses actually make thier hay in bad times, when their stocks fall…

Well today is likely the only time thus far in my life that I’d suggest to anyone needing cash in the next few years to sell a little of your stuff on strength in daily prices. Yep, that’s my slant.

And of course if the market rises some soon they’ll be a couple on this board who will scream bloody murder of my idiocy. That’s exactly what I am talking about, that to me now is the time to take a chill pill.

May last longer this time than in the past. We shall see. Having cash during inflation is troubling; selling assets at 20-30 lower is more problematic. All things favored capital for along time.

I think Berkshire is approximately fairly valued, which is often not the case.
Not a bad time to lighten up a little if you need cash.
I’ve sold a few lately in a tax-deferred account.
Didn’t need the cash, just a little too Berkshire heavy.

this is me

Lighting up is ok but then you need to find better values to put the money in, unless you are just going to wait for a dip in BRK. I suppose Google might be worth the money.
