I am not exactly sure how this initiative will work. It sounds to me like a “Smart City” could include items such as efficiency, public safety, and information based on real time data analytics of things like traffic patterns, resource usage, and emergency activities.
This may give other cities a roadmap that could leverage Alteryx products/platform.

Apple grew a whole class of developers and followers by supporting Universities and providing significant student discounts to build a community out of the next generation. Absolutely, AYX should grow this market it is the foundation of future employees and independent contractors.

It’s also a model that mathworks has used for MATLAB. Despite free offerings that do most of what matlab does, it is widely used as graduates are familiar and productive with it
