Cessna cargo plane tested for remote control--not AI

Pilot shortage means need to find ways to enable small cargo planes to use pilots more efficiently.

It sounds like there is little remote control and a lot of AI.

They already have ‘autoland’ on several small business aircraft about the size of the Caravan. If the pilot gets disabled (usually hypoxia from a pressuration failure or a heart attack), the plane will land itself at the nearest airport with an instrument approach.
