The Serbs learned that, when an F-117 opens it’s weapons bay, it isn’t “stealthy” anymore, and they shot one down. The 117 was retired from service, several years ago.
Now, the Iranians are claiming to have shot down two Israeli F-35s. A 35 may be “stealthy”, when it’s clean. But, hang an external payload on it, it isn’t “stealthy”. Open the weapons bay, and it isn’t “stealthy”.
If Iranian claims are true, we should see identifiable wreckage and the pilots paraded for the press, shortly.
SOP. If the Iranians are right, they will show physical evidence, just like that USian drone they took control of and landed in their territory, some years ago.
