Flying-in poverty wage labor -- daily

Interesting story in the Boston Globe. The Marine Home Center in Nantucket (kind of an upscale Home Depot) flies in 30 hourly workers daily to staff the retail establishment.

I’d want to punch my time card when I checked in for the flight. I always considered commuting to be uncompensated overtime.
