Found out a couple of days ago Fortnite has 500 million players. This might be some $2 billion per month in revenue.

Talking economics. 200 million plus Americans play video games. Americans are half the global market in dollar terms.

There are games and games. If you play using the Sony PlayStation the monthly subscription last I knew was $16. But I do not play any of the games. So my numbers are not so good.

Then on the other end of the spectrum, there are free games.

I called my MIT computer scientist nephew today. I wanted to settle a timing matter. As I spoke to him I saw my solution. I have only one other person to talk with because people would claim an idea as their own.

I am slowly making this game.

My nephew said he had never seen any game design like mine. He kept saying it was interesting. I doubt he was expecting much. He and his classmates had made plenty of games in school. He knows the industry well. Until today he had no clue I was doing something radically different.

The development times have sped up. A complete game is closer. I can work now with more of the materials. The tools are completely new to me.
