There’s so much to unpack here.

  1. People have to learn, yet we’re decimating government investment in STEM education and research.
  2. Other countries are going to open up missile factories in the US?
  3. We want H-1B visa holders building US missiles?

Good golly…things are bleak.

Everyone knows these problems can be addressed with job training programs and apprentice programs, etc.

It will not happen overnight, but each success builds confidence that others can succeed. Sort of a new form of compound interest.

We need to do a better job of encouraging participation. And letting people know they are hiring.
