Hamas has not accepted the "deal"

Stunt? Probably. Because pressure on Israel is not realistic. Hamas wants only war. Has only wanted war since 2006. There are no realistic negotiations with Hamas and there never have been.

Well there could be. Consider becoming a Muslim and if all of us go along there will be peace. Gaza was never big enough. Those of you in New Jersey need to convert.

You’d need to be the right kind of Muslim.

You’re kidding?

All those wars in the region Muslim on Muslim? Who da thunk it?

So what is this about the Jews?

Jews are merely the most heretical of Muslim heretics? Christians get a pass because they are vanishing anyway?

Now we are making things up.

Worse than the early Jews who wrote it all down three times over.

There are three ‘peoples of the book’ – Jews, Christians and Moslems. The Moslems feel that since they were the last they have the best version.

The Jewish authors really outdid themselves.

The war of conquest they started in 622 has yet to end. That’s the lesson history teaches.

No. The Muslims have actively worked to eliminate the Christians from their realms. Most Muslim controlled countries have very few Christians remaining. Look at Lebanon, the Muslims have slowly been eliminating Christians from there and taking over more and more. Even in relatively peaceful places like Israel, the Muslims have succeeded in slowly causing the Christians to leave. Bethlehem, for example, had a thriving Christian population up to a few decades ago, but most of them have left at this point.

Is that ethnic cleansing?

The Islamic countries have weak governments and they are quasi governments at that.

Minorities of those in power cause all sorts of ethnic rivalry problems.

That is reality but it is not representative of Muslims.

Try comparing any of their leaderships with Hitler, Stalin, or Mao. Nothing like that at all. Even those who are the most ardent.

Israel needs a partner in negotiations. The Gazans and West Bankers can not produce that partner. It is not in their politics. But Israel is not the cause of that.

Jordan is a state but it is not a long history of democratic traditions with strong institutions. It is the best in the region.

We all have a Western frame of reference.

It does not apply to Middle Eastern politics.

The overlay of Israel’s existence is the Holocaust, but Israel is a majority Arab Jewish. The entire context is missing from most of the American information systems.

The discussion is about Muslims pushing out Christians. It sounds like Hitler. It is not.

A mind reader! Such hutzpah.’

Thanks for giving me a super power.

I am just a straightforward reader. I see what is not understood or even there in the conversation.
