*This whole thing has to do with stopping Putin from taking some of eastern Ukraine. If the US says and does nothing they will.*
*Besides going forward with the abandoned anti-missile shield defense system and/or placing nuclear weapons back in Ukraine (to give them back a MAD defense against Putin - since they gave up their own nukes for nothing), what could the US possibly say or do that would prevent Putin from doing whatever he darn well pleases?*
*It's not a pretty situation for the Ukrainians - but fortunately, the Ukraine is far away from here.*
