I have been using Windows 11 for several years now and quite frankly it’s restore feature sucks a big one. I vaguely remember in Windows 10 you could increase the number of restore points. It appears as though Win 11 doesn’t have this feature.
I tried to do a restore and whoopie the available restore point was like about 30 minutes ago. Then I went to Google and did this convoluded process where I entered sysdm.cpl and low and behold I was allowed to go back to last night. Big deal.
I need to go be several days to eradicate the problem.
Oh, yea, I have this big note on my desk that if I ever have to do a restore I need to shut down MalwareBytes and MS Defendeer. After about hours run time I finally noticed my note. How does one shut down Defender without getting a Space Engineering degree from Rice?
Alll I want to do is restore the stupid thing.
