Imagine enforcing this mask rule on a US airline. {{ LOL }}

Looks like a Southwest Airlines flight. Southwest won’t take off unless they are overbooked by at least 20 passengers. Talk about a cattle car.

What airplane has that type of seating? I see six in a row on one side of the aisle.

Well, a wide body here has 2-5-2 (total 9) seating with two aisles, sometimes 3-4-3 (total 10). Get rid of one aisle you can probably get 6-6 (12). Two from the aisle space and another one by just making the seats 1” narrower yet. Please do not let any domestic airlines see this picture.

There’s an aisle there. It’s 3-3-3 seating, 9 per row.

There was one Indian airline that was looking at doing an A380 that was outfitted as all Economy Class with 840 passengers sitting 3-4-3.

I bet we could even store two or three folks up in the overhead. Yea, think of the money we will save. Screw the customer.

My airline packing proposal is now almost 20 years old, triggered by 9/11 hysteria and exigent rationality:

Arrive at airport preloading facility and be welcomed by stewards
Strip naked and lie down on pallet
Get expertly robotically intubated, drugged, and
thoroughly lubed with marvelous antiseptic body lotion
Get sardined tight into biological monitoring and life maintenance loading tins
no seatbelts, restroom queques nasty food nor oxygen mask drills required!
Loading tins get loaded along with freight into airplanes
Fly!
Unload sardine tins with freight
Get detubated delubed, washed, awakened with robotic removal of intubation
Get dressed and given coffee or whatever while cheerful wakeup music plays
Arrival Stewards cheefully say “Welcome to whereever with another On Time Arrival!”

Minimum hastle and costs for all!

I just watched a video of a triple decker bus in Pakistan. The luggage compartments on the bottom were outfitted for habitation with TVs and refrigerators.

By far my favorite way to travel in Mexico are the luxury bus lines wherein i can easily and securely sleep reclined in silence with wifi if i want it. The pakistanis have the right idea.

Most international flights, have 3 sections on a single row.
