Interesting, using one stone to kill two birds. There are Israeli Russians who are Christians and Jewish. The Christians Russian Israelis I have heard resist fighting for Israel. Yet some could be fighting for Russia. Israel may use this as a long awaited excuse to disown them. Not fighting for the IDF makes them a burden in Israel. It surprised the Israelis what the attitudes would be of the Christian Russians. Of course it should not have been a surprise.
