Bottom line question: Is there a mechanism by which one can search inside of “Saul’s Investing Discussion” for a particular topic/keyword/ticker symbol?
Background issue: I very much want to contribute to this board by bringing a stock for consideration with supporting data. I’ve found nothing worthy yet, but a few times I’ve gotten close. At that point I have wanted to search to see if the stock already has been discussed here. I cannot find a way to do that…
I notice that the board appears differently depending on how I’m logged in (e.g., if I’m routed through Citrix or using my home network) and depending on what browser I’m using. There may be other factors as well. (Sometimes the knowledge base is visible on the right-hand side. Other times there is no knowledge base visible. Etc.)
I’ve checked my printout of the knowledge base (parts 1-3) for this basic info, but I don’t see it.
I see a basic search functionality by “Ticker”, “Board”, or “Author”, but it is limited and does not accomplish what I’m hoping for. For example, I can enter PSTG into the Ticker box. That takes me to a folder on PSTG. However, it does not take me to entries on Saul’s board where the stock has been discussed.
Thank you!

Jenn, If it’s a stock that seems interesting and hasn’t been discussed recently, just go ahead and present it. It doesn’t matter if it was presented sometime in the past. What will count is your presentation here and now. And it doesn’t have to be the perfect stock or the perfect presentation.
Best, and glad to have you on the board,

On my laptop, the Announcements Window (with Knowledge Base etc) is to the right of the discussion window.
On my phone, the Announcements Window is below the discussion window. I have to scroll down to find it.
FWIW

When in “Whole Thread” mode the sidebar is not visible to give more horizontal space to the comments.

There is another way as well, beyond what other have presented. If you click the “Additional Info” link at the right, and then search for the “every post” link, you will find a google sheet that lists every post back from post #1. You can search that file for words in all the titles. Not the best, but another option.
