Loose back S21 Ultra

I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and recently the bottom (charging plug) end of the back is loose, i.e., it will lift slightly. The camera end seems firmly battened down. Is this something I can fix … other than with a drop of superglue, which seems like a bad idea? Something they could fix in a T-Mobile store?

My guess is the plastic piece the holds the electrical connectors and is typically screwed to circuit board is broken. I doubt this is a simple drop of glue from the outside of the phone repair. Can’t speak for Samsung phones, but Apple phones are glued together - The temperature to melt the glue is important and how to pry are important variables to open an iPhone.

I would not go to T-Mobile.

If you want to get it repaired, I would try a Cell Phone repair store. These folks replace screens and batteries all the time - something that requires opening the phones.

If you want to get an idea of what is involved, go to iFixIt.com and look for a teardown video.
