Handy for those threads either of little interest, of on here, the new setup, to clear Topics temporarily held as “Unread” because a Hidden or Ignored Fool is Yapping at the end of a thread… It messes up the Unread list…
Is there a similar tool?
I hesitate to “Dismiss” that thread as other postings are of interest…
When I am reading a thread (Topic, in the new jargon) and just want to be done with it until next time, I hold down the PgDn (page down) key until it reaches the end. Then I click on Back to exit the thread/topic, returning to the list of new/unread/latest messages.

Just put your cursor over the blue section on the progress line at the right and pull down to the bottom. Very fast.
Or just click on the time/date just below the progress line if you want to go to the last post.
