I have My Dumbest Investment included in my Favorites list. Recently, I’ve been getting Access Denied when I try to read it. Not a big deal, not even important really, but odd. I’ll mark it as “read” so it doesn’t appear in my feed but then someone will post something (I presume) and it pops up again.

Same here. It is not marked as closed and new posts are appearing there but I am unable to read them and get message below when I try. What’s up TMF? Is My Dumbest Investment Open or Not?

That was my initial thought. Could it be that TMF converted My Dumbest Investment to a Premium board?
I would like to see their ads pimping that content as investing advice service, ie
“Attention Investors, don’t make the mistakes these people did. Find out what not to do for only $49.99 per year.”

Sounds like it’s behind a paywall.
That would be a reasonable conclusion but it’s a board that’s always been free. It’s also one of the least informative and unsophisticated. It’s unlikely TMF moved it to a premium service.

I am not a premium service subscriber and I have just opened up this board and am reading these messages so I can’t figure out what the problem is that others are experiencing.

I deleted cookies and erased browser cache as this often makes such problems go away. It had no effect, I still could not access.

I use Chrome and I just tried Edge for kicks. Can’t read My Dumbest Investment board with either. All the other boards seem fine. Weird…

I’m on an Android galaxy s10. I do NOT typically read “What was my dumbest investment” link, in the side bar. I assume that’s the one being discussed.
When I clicked the link, I got:
., “Access denied!”
We’re sorry but you have no dumbest investments.
