OT 3 Palestinians students murdered

There is an evil rising in the US. All ethnicities are victims of this evil. A thought leader wants this evil.

If we remain a democratic republic it is predicated on the support of a democratic republic principle, the exchange of power without violence.

Lets see if this makes the national TV network news. The “news” has gone on and on about antisemitic incidents rising in the US, but nary a murmur about violence against Muslims.

Three Palestinian students shot near the University of Vermont

My link was to CNN. It is making the national news.

Not sure where the ‘headline’ of your post comes from; but the news indicates the three students were wounded with one having more serious wounds. You might want to change the ‘headline’.

ABC evening news just reported it, after the latest on Gaza hostage release, and before the daily “severe weather” hysteria.

In other weirdness: What is the media’s obsession with USians? All along in the release story, the media is constantly crying “where are the Americans? Why aren’t the Americans released?”, as if being a USian makes people extra special and entitled to be put at the head of the line.

Came to my attention that, as of this time in 2022, Hanukkah does not exist at Hobby Lobby. Tons of Christmas stuff, as well as Thanksgiving, New Year, Valentie’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, but Hanukkah does not exist. Did a search on their web site myself. Only things that came up for Hanukkah were a couple calendars that, apparently, mark the date, along with all the other holidays.

They are special to me, just as I am sure the Thai hostages were important to Thailand and worth the effort the Thai government made.

Yep, it is a legal status.

If you have no country try that on for size.

The Palestinians have self-rule in the West Bank and have far fewer complaints. Gazans have dictatorial rule either way.

Several people who know Eaton have said they’re shocked by the allegations against a man who volunteered with disabled children and Boy Scouts. But his behavior alarmed at least two former romantic partners in New York State, one of whom obtained a restraining order against Eaton that was in place for three years. And a former landlord described Eaton as an erratic person who “talked a big game” but proved disorganized, disrespectful and deluded…

Nothing in Eaton’s publicly visible digital footprint indicates that he harbored a consistent or coherent ideology…

While Seven Days has not been able to view all of Eaton’s social media posts, what was provided to the paper suggests he had some sympathy for the Palestinian side of the conflict.

“What if someone occupied your country? Wouldn’t you fight them?” he wrote in a November 16 post responding to a VTDigger.org commentary by U.S. Rep. Becca Balint (D-Vt.) that called for a cease-fire. “Brittan [sic] wouldn’t let ships with food sent by other countries into Ireland during the famine. My people starved.”

In an October 17 post on X responding to a different article, Eaton wrote that “the notion that Hamas is ‘evil’ for defending their state from occupation is absurd. They are owed a state. Pay up.”
