Believe it or not, pilots relieving themselves mid-flight has become a national security issue. For decades, many military pilots who heard nature’s call — particularly those who fly fighters and especially women in those planes — faced an unpleasant reality: use the decades-old ‘piddle packs’ or other devices designed for mid-flight peeing, hold it the whole way, or risk dangerous dehydration by drinking so little water that you never need to go.
The video is 100% useless! It doesn’t show what is new or novel about this solution. What a waste.
None of them will ever be able to use this system because since it is military, it’ll be way way WAY too expensive. Maybe some Chinese company will create a knockoff and sell it someday.
Urology patients, the elderly, truck drivers, sentries… there may be many applications. And someone will drive the price down if it’s adopted. Pretty cool!

I have a SIL in the hospital right now who is basically immobile, lying on her back, for whom this would be a godsend. Now it requires the orderlies to come in and change her, an excruciatingly painful procedure because of her back pain nerve.
