OT:Germans Charge an Ukrainian in Nord Stream Blast

The 50-year-old Ukrainian soldier from Kyiv is accused of leading a team of seven accomplices in the operation which destroyed three of four key Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea.

According to reports, investigators discovered that K. led the sabotage team and was in command of the sailing yacht Andromeda, from which the attack was allegedly carried out.

Investigators reportedly discovered traces of the military explosives HMX and RDX on the Andromeda.

The evidence against the defendant is reportedly considered to be overwhelming. For instance, K. is alleged to have incriminated himself in intercepted phone calls made while in custody in Italy pending extradition.

I wonder where these Ukrainian group got their intelligence on Nord Stream?
Methinks USA. And they were likely sent by Zelensky.

I posted this WSJ story back in October 2024:

A Drunken Evening, a Rented Yacht: The Real Story of the Nord Stream Pipeline Sabotage

Private businessmen funded the shoestring operation, which was overseen by a top general; President Zelensky approved the plan, then tried unsuccessfully to call it off

The Ukrainian operation cost around $300,000, according to people who participated in it. It involved a small rented yacht with a six-member crew, including trained civilian divers. One was a woman, whose presence helped create the illusion they were a group of friends on a pleasure cruise.

“I always laugh when I read media speculation about some huge operation involving secret services, submarines, drones and satellites,” one officer who was involved in the plot said. “The whole thing was born out of a night of heavy boozing and the iron determination of a handful of people who had the guts to risk their lives for their country.”

If a crew of six can do it, what can the IRGC do?
