OT: Here Comes The Sun for Everyone (almost)

On July 8th at 7:15 AM Eastern time:

99 percent of the world’s population would experience daylight or twilight simultaneously; in other words, only 1 percent of the world’s population would be located where it was nighttime.

Of course, they mean human population. But it’s still pretty neat. Happens once a year.

So Saturday is sun day unless you’re in the eastern hemisphere where Sunday is sun day.
