Indeed! That pattern was repeated when America was rediscovered by Columbus. The English speakers became more racist than the Spanish and Portuguese speakers because the English brought their women while the Conquistadors intermarried with locals and African imports. But the Iberian mother countries were just as racist, at least in Colonial times.
The talk also explains why Judaism has survived longer than other ancient religions. Judaism is passed down by the mothers, not the fathers. Rape or marry a Jewish woman and you get Jewish children and Jewish culture.
Lately I saw another talk that could not explain why other human branches all died out. The presenter could not countenance mass killings which were (and still are?) the norm.
Since very early I was very interested in human migrations, where did we come from, how and why did we get here. I’m curious how Guns, Germs and Steel stand up to modern DNS studies.

The video shows and explains brutal dug up physical and also DNA evidence of how/when/where “indoeuropeans” displaced most European and central asian cultures, and also (and crux to the story) how it was made possible by the probable first emergence of what we now call bubonic plague, likely a side effect of human farming cultures creating garbage attractive to rodents.
Plan on skipping the first ten or so minutes of mostly “introductory comments” by an insanely absurd scholar playing tedious self important gracious host, and jump to the meat of the story.
