I would like to see this guy do 15 years in prison.
Prison is a waste of time for everyone. Costly, too. Community service or fines might be a better idea.
That would seem to lenient.

How about 15 years of hard labor?
The Captain
Thatâs the kind of community service I was thinking of. Hey, the world needs gravel but most rocks are just too big.
A neighbor of mine agrees prison is a waste of resources. His solution is the death penalty for everyone. He is moving to Florida, where, I suspect, he will be happier.

CNN This Morning hosts Phil Mattingly and Erica Hill spoke to chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst John Miller on Friday about the recent release of several migrants in New York City after they attacked police officersâŚ
"But within that group, this hard working, you know, throngs of people in search of hope and a better life. There is this 1%, you know, criminal element that looks at a different opportunity hereâŚ
âSo what the detectives are telling me is they have crews here that operate in New York do all their stealing, then go to Florida to spend the money and then come back. And Iâm like, well, why donât they just stay and steal in Florida? And they said, âBecause there you go to jailâ.â

Community service only works if you put an ankle bracelet on the felon that automatically tasers him if he steps outside the geofence.

Cold calling for Chevrolet?

Swatting isnât a prank.
This guy put peoples lives in danger, not to mention the stress. And how about all the money it cost taxpayers?
Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

Indeed. Recall the case of Breonna Taylor. In that case, the police were acting on a legitimate warrant, for someone Taylor had previously had a relationship with, broke down the door of her apartment, in the middle of the night. Taylorâs boyfriend, thinking they were being robbed, fired his legally purchased and licensed gun. The police fired back. Taylor died in the hail of bullets.
I have read of other cases, where SWAT, or Narcs, assault the wrong house. The neighbors start harassing the residents of the house, thinking the police were right. The people end up having to move, because of the sort of attention the police raid brought to them, even though the raid was in error.
As AlphaWold said, âswattingâ can get someone killed, or severely disrupt their life.
