Hi Champico, Where are you getting the Rankings?

Hi Andy:

The rankings are compiled using three sets of data:

  1. Data Tables from IBD - which are the primary of two in-between-ER vote/grading measurements as a way to move companies up or down in the rankings.

1a: Along-the-way Analysts grading changes along with Positive/Negative company news events.

  1. The data from the most recent company ER reports evaluated according to my own system data weighing.

With the exception of how much weight I give to any particular reported ER category there is nothing intangible here. As far as it goes - for me, the rankings are just the beginning and where the rankings end the intangibles begin. Most importantly: the rankings are not any form of mechanical investing. I leave that to investors much smarter than me.

Example: When three high level S execs left recently to join CRWD - S dropped quite a bit in the rankings while CRWD moved up.

Subsequent to updating them I have made several moves within the portfolio based on both the actual rankings as well as the intangibles ‘Perspective/Feelings/Opinions’ gleaned while re-visiting all the data and re-reading all the conference call Transcripts.

Hope that answers your question and if you want more specifics on the actual categories I use and the grading system let me know and I can try to provide more meat.

All the Best,
