It could be all those months at sea, or under the sea, makes a person go a little nuts?

No. The answer was that the Air Force is more of a bureaucratic organization and does a better job at preventing people from talking.
Most of the Navy alien sightings are in their training air space off the East and West coasts. Pilots are shore-based for that activity, not deployed for months at sea.

Being a flag officer does not guarantee sanity, loyalty, patriotism, or anything else. Read up on General Walker, and try to align the things he advocated, with the oath he took as an officer.
I have seen it claimed that Walker was the pattern for Burt Lancaster’s character in “Seven Days In May”.

Conspiracies behind conspiracies. We are getting the “truth”. Fantastic. Can we flush them?
Yes, sea monsters, Sirens, mermaids. A place called Thule. All famous sea stories/sightings by people who have cred. Personally I believe we are being played with all this recent (past several years actually) official recognition or quasi-recognition of outer space people. Not sure what the motivation is. Setting us up for a big war? One World Government? “To Serve Man…?” Maybe that COVID idea didn’t work as envisioned? Or, it’s just a sub-rosa marketing plan for something? Or maybe we’ve already been conquered for years now and this is just the other guys’ way of breaking us in to that fact…?
And then there’s those monoliths popping up again…
