Just back from 3 weeks in France(bonus extras seeing First stage of women and last stage of mens Tour along with some filming of the second season on HBO Max Julia). I was in my last hotel reserved through hotels.com. I reserved in April and ended up saving by not prepaying because of the change in the exchange rate.
I also saved on a couple of planned purchases after checking prices before I left along with the exchange rate at about par.
Honestly, after pandemic cancellation issues, I am unlikely to pay more than the minimum on any travel for the time being.
For me, I am back to normal travel.
