The US Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday released a new commercial called “Investomania: Meme Stocks” and people aren’t happy about it.

Had the GME meme stock blowup AGAINST the short sellers not happened… would the SEC be “investigating” the short sellers?

I think these SEC “Investomania” ads are clever and manage to be educational at the same time.

The government and other organizations actually have a lot of great investment information, if only people knew about it.

I agree, but…
I’m not sure how the SEC is going to reach the target audience with these ads.
Sort of, by definition, the target audience isn’t out looking for any investment info other than in places like the famous reddit group that was pushing GME.
