For those who are invested, or interested in being invested in SHOP, and have access to Stock Advisor’s boards, you may be interested in reading TMF1000’s first page post of SHOP. It seems to be a very evenly written discussion, both the positive and negative (more risks than negative)

If you havn’t read one of Tom’s posts, they are worth the time. If you don’t have access to Stock Advisor you may want to reconsider just for this reason. He has posted this also in the rule breakers boards as well…

Randy, I no longer subscribe to Stock Advisor but I do subscribe to Rule Breakers. I’ve tried, but have not been able to locate the page re SHOP you referenced. Can you direct me to it somehow?

Hi Andy, A very brief summary which captures his feelings is that he personally almost never buys stocks without earnings that are rising just on enthusiasm, but he can’t help himself with this one, and will buy or has bought a “reasonable” sized position, as he defines it (which seems to be not very large, but large enough to make a difference).
By the way, a subscription to MF Rule Breakers and is well worth it. If you find just one recommendation a year that you really like, it will well more than pay for the subscription. (For example, that’s where I got Shopify in the first part of last year. Think what that would have made you.)
