Over ten years ago, I bought a set of relatively cheap (<$40) noise canceling earplug-like headphones, but it made me literally nauseaus to use them. Is this a common problem some people have? Have modern noise canceling earbuds solve this problem?
I seem to recall noise-cancelling headphones from several years ago made my ears feel like the air pressure was increasing, like changing altitude in an airplane. I thought it was a pretty common experience.
I haven’t noticed that phenomenon in recent years, so either I got used to it or the technology has fixed the issue.
