The future for Russia after Ukraine

The most likely outcome for Russia

The most likely future of Russia, however, is as a weak and dependent junior partner, or even a vassal, of China.

Putin off to North Korea, no doubt begging for weapons and possibly manpower

One of these days he will probably go off somewhere and completely disappear. Maybe to enjoy his $100B+ fortune in anonymity somewhere.

Disappear yes, but I don’t think that he will be off enjoying his ill gotten gains

The news reported last night that artillery rounds Russia has obtained from NK number in the millions. No wonder the Ukrainians say the Russians are raining artillery down on them in numbers vastly higher than they can fire in reply.

Of course that begs the musical question: does NK have any conventional arms left, to resist a “liberation” by South Korea? Doesn’t matter if they don’t, because “rocket boy” can turn Seoul into glass in an hour.
