My wife works as a bereavement counsellor. Two weeks ago she began using Zoom in order to continue to counsel individuals in our province who have recently lost a family member. She works for the provincial health authority. Earlier today, all provincial counsellors were told they could no longer use Zoom to meet virtually with their clients, but instead had to use a competing solution. Along with the directive came numerous emails indicating how to use the software. My wife, and I expect many of her colleagues, are frustrated with having to switch to a product that is not intuitive. I suspect that there is a backlash brewing in numerous organizations/companies where staff are being told that they have to use what they perceive to be inferior software.
