I think the largest purges will be in Russia by the Kremlin.
Some dissidents have gone missing. The excuse it is only a few people.
This is a war on Russia by Putin. He truly is an Orwellian marvel.

Also if 80% of the Russian men at the front in Ukraine do not make it, then 80% of the Russian fighting force is unpaid. Talk about cutting costs.
Reminds me of Stalin’s men being lined up in front of tanks to get to Berlin through the minefields.
