For the US as a whole, the average wastewater viral load has declined from a peak of 1077 copies/mL last month to 668 copies/mL this week. Let’s hope that the declining trend continues. There’s still a long way to go to reach even the March low of 107 copies/mL, much less the lows of last year.
I may return to the barber shop instead of cutting my own hair at home. In general, dropping the physical distancing measures are the earlier steps in my reopening process. I’m hoping that the updated vaccines become available soon.
