Wastewater viral load: FINALLY declining!

https://biobot.io/data/

For the US as a whole, the average wastewater viral load has declined from a peak of 1077 copies/mL last month to 668 copies/mL this week. Let’s hope that the declining trend continues. There’s still a long way to go to reach even the March low of 107 copies/mL, much less the lows of last year.

I may return to the barber shop instead of cutting my own hair at home. In general, dropping the physical distancing measures are the earlier steps in my reopening process. I’m hoping that the updated vaccines become available soon.

A visit to my hairdresser sounds like a glorious idea. My hair is halfway down to my waist and a PITA doing sports. But I look at that sweet dog, all healthy now, and picture him getting sick again if I get careless and expose him. I’ll wait. I’m not the one I would be putting at risk, and Locks of Love will be the beneficiary.
