Will Musk Step Down as Twitter CEO?

There was no immediate announcement from Twitter, or Musk, about whether that would happen, though Musk said that he would abide by the results.

Twitter speculation enters the mix.
Musk’s seem to be driving users away & advertisers to suspend advertising on the platform. Perhaps should step down & turn the reins of power over to someone that hopefully will stop Twitter from being a money pit. Musk could then concentrate on Tesla where the money is being made & stop calls from Tesla shareholders demanding he step down from the CEO spot there because he attention is focused on Twitter.
The US is on the cusp of a recession. Where should Musk be concentrating his attention?

I don’t know why he should step down. He’s already fallen down, an abject and dismal failure at it.

Maybe his management style works in an industry that doesn’t already exist, but Twitter is a whole ‘nuther thing, the industry has scads of competitors, some of them giants, and he’s clearly in delirium of his own god-hood.

Oh, and there are now 34 other models of EVs in addition to the 4 that Tesla sells. Not all of them will make it, some of them are doubtless not very good. But Tesla is no longer the only player, so perhaps his attention would be better used back there?

Or, based on his recent performance and mental state, perhaps not.

As an investor i wish he would pay attention to business, to Tesla. As a citizen* I’m glad he is taking on the establishment from a position of strength.

Musk is still going to run Twitter. He just wont be the CEO. He will say and do exactly what he wants. He wont have to get into running the employment issues on a daily basis. He wont have to micro manage the development of the platform possibly towards a web3 facilitating platform.

In other words he needs an office manager who he will title as the CEO.

I think it was the BBC last night, reporting that Musk is starting a narrative that there are a lot of bots on Twitter and the poll might not be valid. Gee, where have I heard that before? From every “JC” that doesn’t like what he is being told.

One user claimed that so-called bots appeared to have voted heavily in the poll about Mr Musk’s role at the firm. Mr Musk said he found the claim “interesting”.
