Mom died last night.
She had aspirated twice the week before, and on Wednesday last week the nurse in Memory Care thought she had about 24 - 48 hours left. She hung on till last night.
Dad’s not there, he’s in a rehab facility. He had kidney and bp issues, spent 9 days in ICU, and needed rehab to be able to walk.
He also has dementia and is very confused about where he is. He doesn’t know yet, we’ll tell him when he gets back next week.
