Auto reply to specific email address in gmail

Hi,
Does anyone know how to do this? I want to set up an auto reply to a specific email address in gmail. I’ve Googled how to do this but the instructions I’m coming up with are wrong. Maybe old?
They all talk about a “canned response” under the 3 vertical dots, or in the settings. I see no such thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick

Here you go Rick. This is more involved than it should be.

Open up your gmail and hit the wheel on the far right which is settings.

Hit See all settings.

Click on advanced and enable templates.

Go back to your inbox. Compose an email to the email address you would like to create the response for. Click the 3 dots down at the bottom and click Templates and then save as template. Follow to save.

Now go back to your inbox. Click on the box for the email you want the template to go to. Click on the 3 dots at the top of the email in your inbox.

Click on Filter messages like these.

Click create filter.

Click send template and choose the template you set up. Hope that helps.

Thanks very much.

Your welcome. I had to google “how to autoreply in gmail to a specific email address 2024” and then to the right of the AI response it had a website with the 2024 response.
