Suggest dropping inactive users. Alternatively create a category of active users

Is someone who only reads “inactive”?

The way I use these boards, both free and paid, inactive users never get in my way. I look for new posting activity, so of course inactive users never appear by definition.

But I am curious… What approach to using the boards makes inactive users an issue?

Could you elaborate on this and how it would benefit the boards? Users are already disabled after 2 years of inactivity so I’m wondering what you are experiencing that prompted this request.
