Thanks Peter. Wow. You took a lot of time writing that and experimenting. One question… after I click on the smudgy diagonal pencil thing… and I see my boards… do I SAVE them somehow?? Any tips on that would be appreciated… Here is what i figure. I am retired (thus “older” than most of TMF staff…) However – When I go to the Amazon website…NO ONE needs to teach me how to use it. It is seamless, logical and EASY. The Fool website developers need to keep that in mind… no matter their age. They need to ask – "Can I click around on this site with ease? Without reading a long tutorial?? Ya gotta love Amazon and sites like it. Ya gotta wonder about those who designed the new Fool.
The old board was in-house developed and maintained (and very old). This site uses a commercial product, so actual development is done by them.
Yes. It’s the bolded part in the post at the top of the thread. After you type in the beginning of a board name and click on it, you need to click away from the drop down box so you can see the SAVE button. You can select several boards before accessing that save button, but if you don’t save you’ll be frustrated.

Gosh Peter Thank you. OK. I am somewhere that the menu “things” are on the left side – “Community… Everything… Tracked… My posts… etc…” Let’s say I want to add the “Tax Strategies Board.” is it under “Categories?” Is it under “Watched” (in bold?) or “Tracked” (in bold?) Is there some way to just searc for ANY board?? Or do I have to know what category they put it in? I would think they would have a way to just search for ANY name of ANY board. Geeez… Sorry for my denseness… thiis is so absolutely frustrating… Thanks if you can try to help me again. I truly appreciate it.
YAY! I figured out how to save my old favorite boards. Thanks for your help. I think I have to mess with it alla little more, to figure out when I have read a message or have un-read messages… That is a little cloudy for me still. I’ll be back on here asking more questions… maybe in a week… Thank you so much Peter for taking the time to post all the instrucaitons and steps. That is so great.
Glad you got it working.
