Looks Like Elan Financial Services Is At It Again

Anyone know how to fix (repair) this problem in Quicken?

CC-505 at Elan Financial Services.

Thanks,

This has been going on since Friday. I am getting 105 errors - have had one 505 error. I have been all over Elan and Quicken. Both point the finger at the other. Quicken has posted they are aware of the issue and working on it. They state that at this time they have no estimated time of resolution.

I think you are a Windows person. I am an Apple user and although both operating systems do get 105 errors, I think the 505 errors are more pronouced on the Windows side.

If you raise heck with Quicken, you will be given directions how to report a problem - and I suppose the more people with the problem might cause greater effort.

Do login to Quicken’s forum and click on the Bookmark for the major threads. When something happens, you should get notifications. Here is link to Quicken’s Forums https://community.quicken.com

My suspession is the more times people call Fidelity and suggest changing from Elan to Citi or Chase for their credit card processing, the more involved Fidelity might get. They certainly have a big enough stick to get Elan’s attention.

The phone number for Fidelity’s tech support is 800-544-7931. Be prepared for a long hold.

Hey GW. I haven’t bothered calling either Elan nor Quicken because as you have pointed out they always tell me to call the other guy and won’t admit guilt nor fix (repair) the problem.

I went back and edited my original post. I didn’t think about the background info I was sharing with the world. I hope my edit worked.

Thanks for the link to Quicken. I’ll give it a shot.

Hey GW. I just downloaded the prior weeks Elan Financial action. No problem. It sure is nice of them letting us know “they” had a problem. Sure.

Thanks for your help.

I was worried there for a minute, as that is my most active charge card. Fortunately for me, I don’t use Quicken! :sunglasses:
