There has already been a full on demonstration of the US Navy shooting down missiles supplied by Iran fired off in Yemen.
That puts Iran out of this conflict. If they can not strike out and hit a target no matter how they try there is no need for a war with them.
My first ideas on Iran are moot now.
People around the world waver between their local battles of the last 500 years and global understandings and thinking that would beneft mankind. Iran is sick of the clerics on the local and global level. It is not at our hand that the population has been tortured. What we did in the cold war matters but has to be over with just like Nazzzzi Germany is not there any longer.
