Israelis have set an impossible goal of trying to kill 30,000 Hamas fighters without killing at least 600,000 Palestinian civilians. If thousands of Palestinian civilians are seen being killed every day, then USA will come down harshly on Israel.
What use was it to order one million Palestinians to Southern Gaza? The Hamas fighters will go to Southern Gaza with the civilians. Furthermore, Israel can not move 2 million Palestinian civilians to Egypt.
And the logic of killing 30,000 Hamas fighters will not destroy Hamas. A new Hamas will rise as we have seen in many such killings of terrorists.
Israelis have a no win situation. Israelis have to make peace with Arabs on equitable terms.

Israel works well with tribal leaders in the West Bank and in Jordan.
