It had been a while since I’d replaced the toner cart in my brother HL-L2395DW all in one printer/scanner… So some time to find the right door, but I got there, replaced the cart OK, but when printing, a bunch of clicking and clacking I hadn’t heard before…
It did print even double sided, but still all the clicking… Remove, replace, try again, power cycle, no help…
Eventually, stubborn me, I put the prior part in, no clicking or clacking, just a faded printout… I’d bought the new carts an Amazon 2-pack too long ago to return, so looking at the good old one, I spotted a ‘B’ after the TN760. the new ones did not have it and there were some differences.
So, recycle the new ones, ordered another pair, TN-760B, be here tomorrow… One little ‘B’… Irritatingly simple. but…
