How does one go about doing that?

So far all I see is to ignore the ‘hidden’ posts, yet the seem to still show up in the new or unread counts… Others may reply, revealing who they were…
You should be able to ignore anyone in preferences, but if they have hidden their profile, it’s just harder to do (you can’t click on it).
Go to your preferences and in the user selection, click add and enter the names of anyone you want to ignore, then Save Changes. Here’s a direct link for your profile user page: https://discussion.fool.com/u/sutton/preferences/users

If anyone else was wondering this: I’ll add that the new site requires you select a length of how long to ignore…and that the choices appear to only go out to two weeks.
However, that’s just the top of a pull-down menu allowing the 6 mo/one year/forever options
