Not likely. Even if they did, it wouldn’t have much impact. Unless you consider civil penalties for sexual abuse victims as something that can be tariffed. Then they should be terrified.
The $1 billion question is whether Leo XIV is The Right Pope. With his past comments critical of TFG and TFGBB, it will be interesting to see whether Pope Leo XIV will change course to court big bucks.
