“Tell Trump he’s dreaming if he thinks he will displace us to Jordan and Egypt.”
It is not genocide or ethnic cleansing. It was the fifth largest war in the region.
Israel will end up paying much of the bill to rebuild.
Hamas needs to change. If you can not get a grip on that you the reader are continuing to fool yourself.
But how? They are still the power in Gaza. Were they elected? Do they have support of Gazans? Or are they merely a gang with power to kill (and financial support from Iran, etc).
The Gaza-Israel conflict is playing out exactly as Hamas planned. Hiding in tunnels in populated areas got Israel criticized for the civilian casualties as they tried to avoid urban combat (exactly as Hamas planned). The hostages proved to be powerful bargaining chips (as planned). Now peace seems likely to allow Hamas to rearm and reattack.
Their only miss is the hope that Hezbolah or others would come to their assistance.
The genocide claims in the news have resulted in renewed antisemitism in numerous DEI countries. Another win for Hamas.
The problem is there is no safe place for the civilians to go. We have seen pix of roads packed with people trying to escape a battle in France or the Netherlands. But Gaza is very densely populated, and there is no place for the civilians to go, where they would be out of the line of fire.

Recognize Israel and negotiate in good faith with Israel. Others have and do.
There has been no famine, no genocide, and no ethnic cleansing. Time to be an adult. Adults admit when they are wrong. Others snivel.
I disagree. The problem is that citizens of Gaza do not oppose Hamas. They seem to support their opposition to Israel. Did they vote Hamas into power? Hamas attacked Israel and citizens of Gaza pay the price. When will they learn?
I doubt it. Israel wasn’t even paying for the munitions that caused the Genocide.
US Taxpayers will take the hit until we put a stop to this nonsense. Let the wealthy countries fund their own genocidal campaigns.

It would help if you and all of us give up believing some vaguely greco-roman model of individual political thinking affecting leadership holds true.
Most of the crux Palestinians, like many USA voters, have scant and make little use of sources of reliable information. And they do not get to vote.
Who selected Hamas as the leaders in Gaza? Are you saying they claimed leadership by force and no one objected?
It sounds like you’re not familiar with the history and contributing factors that led to Hamas gaining power. It’s easy for us to assume that Hamas took power in a simple western style election. The facts are much more complicated.
No. But not enough and not powerful enough objected, and at the same time most of the Gaza residents felt, for good reason, misused by all the powerful players including USA, UN, Israel, Fatah, oil Arab states, military Arab states, ……
Watching from outside since the 50’s, I see justifiable but irreconcilable claims by all the parties and everybody else. I see the main fault lying with UKofGB, France, USA, Arab Princely families especially the Sauds, Iranian Shiite power players, Israel especially Begin and followers and successors, Lebanese clan leaders of all sects, …… Everybody.
I tell friends I have there to leave because the moral quandaries are irreparable until most of the players are dead, and innocent children keep becoming players.
When they ditch their Book.

Nonsense Israel has a larger military budget and spends much of it with the US.
The Israeli finance minister said the ‘weak opposition’ from Egypt and Jordan could be overcome
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said he’s working to make President Trump’s suggestion that Palestinians could be “cleaned out” of Gaza and moved to Egypt and Jordan a reality.
“There is nothing to be excited about the weak opposition of Egypt and Jordan to the plan. We saw yesterday how Trump [imposed his will on] Colombia to deport immigrants despite its opposition. When he wants it, it happens,” Smotrich added, referring to a spat between Trump and Colombian President Gustavo Petro over deportation flights.

That’s exactly the imperialistic way the US should conduct foreign policy now.
China agrees and says, “Thanks!”

Yup. Host the concentration camps, or the US cuts off their foreign aid. If the two countries still say no, use the first son in law’s plan: shove them into a concentration camp in the Negev.
Any bets the centerpiece of the “new” Gaza will be a big resort, owned by a certain USian real estate company?

If you are going to do something keep in line with your history. A bankrupt hotel? Of course.
I hate it when antisemitism is misused like this.
Antisemitism is criticizing people just for being Jewish - much like criticizing black people for being black or Mexican people for being from Mexico. It is a form of racial discrimination.
Criticizing a country for the way they are fighting a war is not antisemitism.

Of course. Must roger the contractors. Paying bills “burdens the JCs”

Cruelty and brutality is the objective. We should all be very careful about the news we consume. The incessant stories about Colombia backing down only strengthens the disgusting narrative and will lead to worse in the future.
Colombia has not changed it’s position. They agreed to accept deported Colombian citizens, but pushed back on the undignified treatment of them. Nothing has changed, except the US further pushing Latin America into the arms of China.
Isolationist policies lead to being isolated. In case you’re wondering, that’s not good for the US.
