Hi,
I can’t get my stupid Samsung tablet reset so I can return it. I reset it put my emails and profile is still in it! I tried to sign out of my account but it won’t let me.
Any ideas on how to wipe this stupid thing out so my personal stuff isn’t stuck on the damn thing?

PS - why are they so dumb? They make it so frustrating that I am not apt to ever buy again in the future.
Maybe I need to smash the damn thing with a hammer and claim that’s how it arrived, LOL! Run it over with a car.

Hey RB is your sd card encrypted? Here is how to check it and do a factory reset.
** Important: Please save any information you need prior to the factory reset because your personal information may not be recovered. If you have encrypted the microSD card, you must decrypt it before resetting the device. Otherwise, your device will not be able to read the data on the card. From Settings , search for and select Decrypt SD card , and then follow the on-screen prompts.**

I had to jump through more hoops but I think I finally got it.

The moral of this story is ‘never buy Samsung again’. We had a 55" Samsung TV for roughly 3-4 years and half the screen turned black on us. Then the wife go a new Samsung gas range and the flame started burning orange on us rather than blue. You talked hoops you wouldn’t believe what we had to do to get Samsung out to look at their range.
Oh, by the way, you need a master’s in rocket science to figure out how to set the time on the d*mn thing. Here in Houston with power outages all the time it’s not fun.

Who makes Android phones, tablets, etc. besides Samsung? They seem to be the “go to” for Android.
And don’t get me started on Apple - I hate their stuff! Nothing but trouble every time I even looked at one, LOL!

In the case of Apple they allow a return and full refund for 14 days.

Google phones are also Android phones. I believe you can get a google tablet too. Amazon Fire is another android tablet. These Fire tablets come in a variety of price ranges so you can get a really cheap one aimed at kids or expensive for adults. You might take a look at them…doc
I like my Surface windows tablet that I added a keyboard, that makes it a small form laptop. Great for when travelling or sitting around.
