showering

Just a friendly little nudge. From 1/5/22:

Would you be willing to share which shampoo you use and what oils you add and why?
Also, do you use any kind of conditioner or does adding the oils, to the shampoo,
negate the need?

Of course! Hopefully tomorrow. Crazy schedule at the moment, with work complications and “kids” visiting (and a dog we’re babysitting). But if not then, then just as soon as I can.

I know. And I apologize. And I was thinking of this—yet again—shortly ago, and plan to do it before the day is over. My work demands finally normalized end-of-day Friday, dog left Sunday (we miss him), first “kid” left late Monday, second “kid” left late yesterday, had a mold inspection/evaluation this morning (from Ida flooding). It’s been nonstop till just now.

And actually, turns out my daughter is still around and lots of time has been given over to texting. She was supposted to take off for Paris at 9pm eastern yesterday evening. First they were simply told—a little delay. Then an hour’s delay. They an extended delay bewcause the pilot had been very late. Then all night, because one of the pilots, on standard testing after returning to JFK on an international flight, was covid-positive And the airlines couldn’t find an immediate replacement. The the whole flight was canceled. So it’s hotel and meal vouchwrs, and getting to the hotel after all the food services had closed for the night. She was so hungry, she ate the contents of the sugar packets placed in her room for coffee. Needed a new covid test today because her previous one was no longer in the time widow. And she’s on a flight that is supposed to take off at 6:30 this evening.

So…just a tad more to wait.

LOL, I’m having flashbacks here to the times, when traveling, that I’ve had the contents of vending machines for dinner, or even the in-room snack bar (which I never otherwise touch, but I was really desperate). Luckily, many hotels now have a small shop with snacks, adjacent to the front desk, available 24/7, but some still have neither that nor vending machines. Sounds like your DD got stuck in one of those.

This is a tougher than usual time to be traveling. I hope by this time tomorrow your DD is home safe and sound, with no further surprises. Glad you got to see her!

Oh gosh, of course! What a crazy week.
Let me know when you can. I won’t bug you.

She touched down at Charles de Gaulle in Paris at 8am her time, 2am our time. The one “benefit” is that she had begun crocheting a sweater for herself, and she made significant progress during all of her sitting around and w-a-i-t-i-n-g!
