The latest worldwide total for “Spider-Man” now stands at $1.69 billion. It looks like that magical number projected by Deadline – which I thought would not be reached, $1.75 billion - - is already in the bag. Not sure how much more it has to go, but I know Deadline was thinking that, maybe, it’s possible the film could make a run for “Avatar” (domestically speaking). I’m not certain about that, and neither is the trade site, since the movie obviously is slowing down, but that would be pretty cool within the context of the pandemic…
