Someone could make a statue of Bernie Sanders, that would repeat his talking points when you stood before it, and it would be as true in a hundred years as it is today.

Hillary was never popular, just the choice of Wall Street fundraisers (same with Kamala). DEMs will continue to lose until they do something for middle and working classes.

Either was Bernie. He should have climbed off the pot and became a Democrat a long time ago. His failings were if he didn’t want to be a Democrat he couldn’t be expected to win a Democrat primary.

Some interesting action today. My Stryker was down, even though hips and knees are getting older. My Stride was down, in spite of the push to privatize schools. My oils were up, but Flowserve was down, as if Mr Market doesn’t understand that the administration’s policy of increasing o&g production and use will require more pumps.

Everyone is seeing that both parties dance to the billionaire’s tune.
That makes people cynical and not vote.
Yet, there’s a hunger in all that things could be much better if only… something.
Trump came out with “Make America Great Again”, a superb statement that has sadly proven hollow and self serving.
Until we unite for the country, for the greatest number of people, and follow laws and the templates of democracy so generously bestowed on us by founding fathers, until that time, we will squander our national heritage away and become a balkanized monarchal state. And, sadly, some people want that to happen.
We have all we need. We just need to quit following the pied pipers of greed and self interest, thinking we’ll benefit somehow. We won’t. They’ll lead us off a cliff.
We need to responsibly build our nation to be stronger.
United we stand, divided we fall.
